Thanks for the question Chikiwings. I use hair pieces and hair wefts--and they don't need to be expensive. And no, I don't use extensions or tracks for these 6 styles. You're right. Some schools teach the minimum. It's unbelievable how little some graduates know when they join the workforce. But be careful about judging the place around the corner. I've found (as a salon owner & a parent with kids in both public & private colleges)--& don't you think--that it depends just as much on the student? That is, an applied student can get a great education at a mediocre school--& a disinterested student can get a mediocre education even at a great school.

Beautiful work! Thanks for showing the audience how NOT to stick the pins in our mouths. I can't believe how many stylist do that; (even the young new ones) I don't know how they passed the state board. It's the first thing you learn at the academy (Graham Webb)I guess not at the Vietnamese "Beauty Scoo" around the corner at Eden Towne. Not that anyone should have to be taught that spit in a clients hair = disgusting.
